Liquid Superspreading on Surface with Microhexagonal Structure Inspired by Rock‐Climbing Fish

چکیده

The dynamic spreading mechanism of liquid on a specific surface is vital for understanding interface wetting and antifouling. Whereas, how to control the process accelerate speed major challenge. rock-climbing fish characterized by its alepidote feature that lives in stream habitats dominated strong currents. mucus body plays role adherence maintenance antifouling antibacterial properties. However, rapid, uniform, efficient remains largely unknown. Herein, it revealed overlaid fully microhexagonal texture structure. This hexagonal structure shows superspreading effect diffusion, resulting from testing with bionic microfabrication inspired fish. It demonstrated microhexagonal-textured can enhance quickly evenly regulating moving contact line liquid. kind has great potential applications antifouling, electroencephalogram electrode interfaces, flexible skin sensors, interfacial lubrication underwater surfaces.
